At first it was just an intuition, now after making many piñatas and reading a lot about them, I know that in reality, piñatas are a totemic element of ritual character. They are capable of achieving something surprising and very positive in our alienated consumer society, which is to create a real space around them in which "no class, no race, no age" is given, which links them with the power of dance. It is in these spaces where through a cathartic energy we are able to forget, even if only for a moment, about ourselves to unite in community and connect with our primitive selves.

This attraction is what has prompted me to trace its origins and create this OPEN REPOSITORY in which to store everything we discover together!
